Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) is a public university located in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State, Nigeria, along Zaria Road.
It was established by the Federal Government in February 2013 and commenced academic operations in the 2014/2015 session.
The university was part of a broader initiative to expand access to tertiary education across underserved regions in Nigeria.
